Phil Franké is widely recognized by magazine editors, PGA pros and Top 100 Instructors as the best golf instruction illustrator in the industry. Franké has worked as an illustrator for nearly 20 years, and he has been staff illustrator at Golf Tips since 1992.

His golf illustrations have appeared in Time magazine, Sports Illustrated, Golf Magazine, Golf Illustrated, Golf Tips, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. He has created illustrations for Simon & Schuster, ESPN, major TV networks and many Fortune 500 companies.

A graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., Franké initiated his career as a creative force in entertainment advertising, where he designed posters for popular movies such as Saturday Night Fever, Rambo, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Trek. He also illustrated the well-known car-shaped logo for the movie classic Grease.
